SPACER to make USA debut SPACER to make USA debut

The race car seat shell developed by soft trim will be used for the first time in the American sports car championship.

Frenchman Mathieu Jaminet and his Australian team-mate Matt Campbell have set their sights on the 2022 title in the IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship. Together with Pfaff Motorsports, the duo will be competing in twelve races in North America – including the 24 Hours of Daytona, the 12 Hours of Sebring and the Petit Le Mans at the legendary Road Atlanta.

Their workplace is a Porsche 911 GT3 R, which will be equipped with a SPACER. “This is of course a special project for us,” explains Sascha Taubert. “For the first time we built a seat shell for the IMSA series, which we are proud of. The Pfaff troops have placed a lot of trust in us.”

A special detail: Pfaff Motorsports is known to fans from all over the world for its distinctive car design. “The Porsche is painted in plaid, which immediately catches the eye. For this reason, we have made a carrier bag for the SPACER in a matching fabric,” says Taubert.

The season-opener of the championship takes place in Daytona from 27th to 30th January.
